A ‘Life has its own plans!’ and all Mahindra Retail wanted, was to play a small role in life’s wonderful plans. This thought leadership required simple storytelling, told from a place of truth and insight. We spent many evenings with mothers listening to passionate renditions of those indelible moments.
We dug deep into our own lives and pulled out moments that would serve as memoirs someday. The result was an ocean of ideas grudgingly narrowed down to a few seen in the film.
The little nuances like the finger strokes on the cake, the broken angel on the second cake, the reference to lemonade recipes in the song (The magic trick in the visual – works with lemon juice) are some of the crumbs we hope, will make watching this film more enjoyable. And this has rightly helped Mahindra Retail rise into a brand that lives far beyond the promise of a chain store, as a partner of life, every moment.
