Adwit came to us with a hard working script for a TV Commercial meant for semi urban and rural audiences using the popular story of 2 friends who meet after a long time. Using visuals of fertile, prosperous landscapes, joyous people and a successful family we demonstrated the progress a bank can bring to a farmer. The film uses contradicting screenplay and performance to the dialogues at times, to make the message stronger.
The casting for the film included a bank manager not picked for his traditional model like appearance, but for his similarity to the most managers at a Canara Bank. This helped deliver an experience consistent with the reality and a music score with an alaap helped the farming community connect with the TVC.
